John Russo,

Community Outreach Director

John leads the Community Outreach Program for the Insurance Hub as such he is involved in public relations, volunteer relations, and fundraising. 
He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and from Central Connecticut State University School of Education.

He is a retired public-school teacher and basketball coach with 28 years of experience in Florida public schools. He has also worked as a personal trainer and a Certified Weight Loss Coach. He has been married for 30 years to his high school sweetheart Kathleen and they have 5 children.

John’s superpower is his ability to connect with others, offer positive reinforcement and to work as part of a team. John enjoys interacting within the community and serving others. His greatest joys in life are being a father, a husband and an advocate for the less fortunate.
